I was born in Omaha, Nebraska. I have lived most of my life here, I spent some time living in New York city with my Aunt and Cousins over many summers as a teenager. I am married with 3 kids, 1 boy, and 2 girls. My children are mostly grown, two of them are 21 and one is 15. A fun fact about me is that I come from a big family. I have 11 brothers and sisters, 7 brothers and 3 sisters. I am the second oldest, first oldest girl. Living at my home as a kid there was never a dull moment. We are all still very close till this day. We like to spend time at the Lake, we have property in Beaver Lake where we like to swim, fish, boat, camp, cook-outs, and lounge around.
My job here at Veritas is the Residential Director. I have worked as a DSP, Lead DSP, Residential Coordinator, and now Director of Residential. Previously, I worked as a Drug and Alcohol counselor at an inpatient treatment center for 3 years before I found the Developmental disability field. I got into the Developmental disability field late 2012, I found my passion here, working with individuals. Every day I came into work, and I learned and experienced new things. The connections I made with my Individuals I worked with touch my heart. I love most about my job is the relationship I have built with staff and Individuals, seeing the goals they reach and create new goals. I have met so many people along the way that have changed my life and the way I view the world
