Day Service Supports:
We have developed our Veritas Day Service so that each day is filled with opportunities for people to reach new heights with activities that allow them to learn, grow, and discover what is possible. At our Day Center, we focus on the person and what is meaningful to reach goals as a part of our community. Omaha and the surrounding areas have much to offer and provide an outstanding backdrop to discover new skills, overcome challenges, or experience the pride of being included.
In addition to enjoying the greater Omaha area, we also focus on learning and growth through experiences at our day center location. One of the programs that I want most is our cooking program. With this program, participants learn about what goes into cooking a meal, and the entire group gets to enjoy the meal. The program also offered art, healthy life skills, sports, and further education in areas of need. This happens while our staff collaborates with the person on goals set out by the person and their team.
Aged and Disabled Waiver Services or (A&D):
For those that not yet on the DD wavier, our day services support people qualified for the Aged and Disabled waiver for day services. Community Inclusion give you the opportunity to explore and enjoy the Omaha area. Contact us to inquire about openings.
Consultative Assessment
Consultative Assessment helps you stay in your current services while keeping you, and others safe, observes you in your home, and where you receive day services, does a behavioral assessment, and gives your team recommendations. Behavioral interventions are developed, used, evaluated, and revised as needed. This is a habilitative service.
Educational Services
Our Special Education Adult Transition Program provides training, support, and an educational program to individuals with developmental disabilities ages 14 to 22 years with the goal being to have the students become as independent as possible.
